Marilyn Monroe is alive and well in the new show, Marilyn! The New Musical at Paris Las Vegas. The musical takes audiences through the highs and lows of Hollywood’s greatest icon. Whether you are a Monroe super fan or love hearing about the glamour area of Hollywood, here are five reasons to see this new musical:

The Real Marilyn
Not only do you get to watch as actress Ruby Lewis brings Marilyn to life on stage but you will also get to see the real Marilyn via large video screens that flash background information, photos and clips of the blonde bombshell.

Charlie
Marilyn’s life story is told through the eyes of her trusted driver, Charlie. He delves into Monroe’s many marriages, movie career and other moments as she battled with her identity. Charlie’s perspective is a unique way to get to experience Marilyn’s life, and one we haven’t seen before. In addition to Charlie, audiences will also get to see Milton Greene, Bill Pursel, Darryl F. Zanuck, Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller, Jane Russell, Jayne Mansfield and Ella Fitzgerald.

Original Songs
Audiences will hear some of Marilyn’s popular songs like “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” “My Heart Belongs to Daddy” and “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.” The musical also includes a whopping 15 original songs created specifically for the show.

Ruby Lewis
Ruby Lewis, whose credits include Baz and Cirque du Soelil’s Broadway show Paramour, does an excellent job bringing Marilyn to life both visually and vocally. From the moment Lewis steps on stage, you’ll think you’ve taken a trip back to the glamour days of Hollywood. Her look as Monroe is spot on and her voice is even more convincing. Lewis is a treat to watch, and she’ll make you wish we could have seen more of Monroe.

The Chorus
An all-star chorus pops up frequently to back the many musical numbers. The singers morph from household staffers to nightclubbers as they perform beautiful dance moves to the songs they are singing. Marilyn is certainly the star of the show but these performers add an extra special something.
