Summertime in Vegas is hot. So hot in fact, you could literally fry an egg on the sidewalk. When temps hit upwards of 110 degrees, it’s hard to be outside. But what is there to do if you’re not at a pool or checking out the Strip? Here are Best of Vegas’ five favorite indoor attractions:

Vegas Indoor Skydiving
Staying inside has never been as exciting as it is with Vegas Indoor Skydiving. This unique attraction let you experience the highs of skydiving without jumping out of an airplane (and while also staying inside). Enter the wind tunnel and “fly” through the air-conditioned air.

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
For another indoor Vegas thrill check out Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Usually you have to be outside and in the water to see a shark, but at Shark Reef, you’ll encounter species from all over the world in the attraction’s many fish tanks. Shark Reef offers full 180 views in its tanks, so you won’t miss a thing. Plus, you’ll see more than just sharks here too. There are more than 2,000 species of animals.

The Mob Museum
Stay cool with some mobsters this summer at The Mob Museum. Learn about the Mob’s effect on Las Vegas and other cities in America through interactive exhibits and Mob and law enforcement artifacts.

CSI: The Experience
Speaking of crime, test your hand at solving one at CSI: The Experience. The immersive and interactive challenge lets you participate in 3 murders, with 15 lab stations, 15 suspects and 3 killers. You’ll do everything from examine bullet casings to match DNA and identify the source of a single strand of hair. Wanna-be detectives will love this indoor attraction.

Real Bodies
If you’ve ever been to Vegas in the summer before you’ve probably spent some time “exploring” the human body, especially at one of Vegas’ many pools. But when temps hit over 100 even that isn’t enjoyable anymore. This summer you can continue the tradition at Real Bodies at Bally’s. Here you can explore the human body in a different way and learn about its inner workings via real human specimens.
