One of Hollywood’s iconic stars has landed on the Strip. Marilyn! The New Musical will showcase the life of Marilyn Monroe and her younger life as Norma Jeane Baker. The show has had preview performances beginning May 23 and will officially open at Paris Las Vegas June 1, which would have been Marilyn’s 92nd birthday.

The production is in partnership between Tegan Summer, chief executive officer of Prospect House Entertainment, and Authentic Brands Group, which owns the Estate of Marilyn Monroe.

The new musical will be 90-minutes with no intermission. It will take place in the 1,200-seat theater that was formerly home to Jersey Boys and currently the pyrotechnic masterpiece Inferno.

Marilyn! is musically ambitious, featuring 20 original musical numbers from Summer and Gregory Nabours as well as classics like “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” and “My Heart Belongs to Daddy.” In order to put on such an incredible show, Summer has recruited the talent to match.

The cast of Marilyn! Includes stars from Broadway, Los Angeles and Las Vegas including Brittney Berrtier (Seussical) as Norma Jeane, Frank Lawson (Memphis, When Jazz Had the Blues) as Charlie, Marilyn’s trusted driver, Travis Cloer (Jersey Boys at Palazzo Theater and Paris Las Vegas) as Milton Greene, Chris Fore (Jersey Boys) as Bill Pursel, Randal Keith (Monty Python’s Spamalot at Encore Theater) as Darryl F. Zanuck, Christopher Showman as Joe DiMaggio, Matthew Taylor as Arthur Miller. Lindsay Roginski (Showstoppers) as Jane Russell, Una Eggerts as Jayne Mansfield, and Chanel Edwards-Frederick as Ella Fitzgerald. Kelley Jakle will serve as the swing for Marilyn Monroe.

The set will sweep audiences away to the Golden Age of Hollywood.
